Dr. Jeff earned his Board Certification in Atlas Orthogonal (BCAO) in August 2011, training directly under the founder of Atlas Orthogonal, Dr. Roy Sweat. Dr. Jeff has become one of approximately 200 BCAO in the world. After the 8 years of undergraduate and chiropractic education, the BCAO is a one-year board certification specializing in the upper cervical spine and its effects on the brain, spinal cord, and the rest of the body.
Dr. Jeff also specializes in Graston Technique. Graston Technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and facial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.
Dr. Jeff is a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychobiology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and also received Emergency Medical Training from the National Ski Patrol and from the American Red Cross as a certified Life Guard. He has additional training in musculoskeletal rehabilitation as a certified Body Arts and Sciences Pilates instructor and has experience in multiple sporting events such as RSVP Seattle to Vancouver BC ride, the Mt. Ashland Hill Climb.
Dr. Jeff is available to speak to your company, school, or club on health related topics such as back injury prevention, pregnancy and postpartum care, workplace ergonomics, and other musculoskeletal conditions that chiropractic care can relieve and prevent.
