Dr. Jeffrey Taylor

Dr. Jeff earned his Board Certification in Atlas Orthogonal (BCAO) in August 2011, training directly under the founder of Atlas Orthogonal, Dr. Roy Sweat. Dr. Jeff has become one of approximately 200 BCAO in the world. After the 8 years of undergraduate and chiropractic education, the BCAO is a one-year board certification specializing in the upper cervical spine and it’s effects on the brain, spinal cord, and the rest of the body. Dr. Jeff also specializes in Graston Technique®. Graston Technique® is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. Dr. Jeff is a graduate of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychobiology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and also received Emergency Medical Training from the National Ski Patrol and from the American Red Cross as a certified Life Guard. He has additional training in musculoskeletal rehabilitation as a certified Body Arts and Sciences Pilates instructor and has experience in multiple sporting events such as “RSVP Seattle to Vancouver BC ride”, the “Mt. Ashland Hill Climb”. Dr. Jeff is available to speak to your company, school, or club on health related topics such as back injury prevention, pregnancy and postpartum care, workplace ergonomics, and other musculoskeletal conditions that chiropractic care can relieve and prevent. |

Lynne Schefstrom is our office manager extraordinaire. With ancestry that moved to Jacksonville in 1870 and being raised in the Applegate, Lynne has a deep connection with the community. She is committed to improving the health, well-being and lifestyle of her home. You will find her warm, humorous, and accommodating. |
Rodney Farquhar

Rodney Farquhar is our soft tissue specialist, focusing on massage, soft tissue therapy, and physiotherapy. He was raised in Ashland, graduated from Ashland High School, and has continued to live and work in the Rogue Valley. He began working at Rogue Valley Chiropractic in 2000. Rodney takes an active role in patient care, working with them on home exercises and lifestyle advice. His gregarious nature and magic hands make him a patient favorite. |



Dr. Gustav Schefstrom was raised in Rogue River. He did his
undergraduate work at Southern Oregon University before getting his
Doctorate in Chiropractic at Western Sates Chiropractic College in 1981.
Upon graduation he started the Rogue Valley Chiropractic Clinic and has
been committed to the Rogue Valley and it's people since. In 1997,
after many years of successful practice, he realized the significance of
the upper cervical spine on an individual's health and began training
in Atlas Orthogonal. He trained directly under the founder of Atlas
Orthogonal, Dr. Roy Sweat.
